I am a hunter, I eat what I kill and I only kill as much as I need to eat.
You could still clean them and put them in a meat freezer. It could also be for overpopulation reasons. I feel the same way, but at the same time, I’m alright with some one hunting 100 Canadian geese just to burn most of them afterwards… If it’s not done, they’ll wreck farmlands and kill off native birds. As wasteful as it seems, it does need to be done in order to not fuck your ecosystem over, and one person can only process and use so much of it…
I guess I don’t really know enough about their situation to have an opinion on these guys, but I strongly dislike the idea of hunting “for sport” and not using the animals, or trophy hunting.
That’s true, there is really not enough information here. I guess I sorta jumped the gun on this one. I have just run into so many morons in the world of hunting. And yeah I agree about killing non-native invasive species and pests, those are proly the only exceptions I make to my policy of using all the stuff I kill. While PETA does suck ass and is full of shit(they don’t really do anything to help animals anymore all they do is make tons of money) this is a really bad way to either make a joke about it or take a jab at PETA. Whatever they were trying to do all they accomplished was to make hunters look like asshats.
